Hi Reader, For a long time, there was one word I never thought belonged to me. Recovery. I thought recovery was only for people collecting sobriety chips. For people brave enough to stand up in a church basement and say, "Hi, my name is..." It wasn't for the girl who lost her mother too young. Or for the daughter of an alcoholic. Or the wife of someone fighting his own battle. I thought I was just anxious. Just a worrier. Just "strong." Then I watched people I loved fight for recovery. And somewhere along the way, I realized something that changed the way I understand healing forever. Recovery isn't just about leaving something behind. It's about reclaiming the parts of yourself that got buried while you were surviving. While you were trying to keep the peace...anticipate every problem...hold everything together. That realization didn't just change my life. It changed the entire philosophy behind Brash. I finally put that story into words. If you've ever wondered why I talk about reclaiming yourself... Or why I believe healing is so much bigger than symptom management... I hope you'll read this. → Read: Recovery Isn't Just for Addiction I'd love to hear what resonates with you. Keep it brash. Keep it true to you. Because you matter. Lisa |
