I thought confidence came later.

I used to think confidence belonged to successful people.

You know the ones.

The people who walk into a room like they belong there. Take chances. Put themselves out there without apparently needing to spend three business days analyzing whether everyone thinks they’re an idiot.

Of course they’re confident.

Look at everything they’ve accomplished.

Except I had missed something.

I was waiting for confidence to show up after I had enough proof that I deserved it.

Meanwhile, there was proof all over my life.

I just wasn’t calling it confidence.

I called it doing what needed to be done.

Figuring shit out.

Having no other choice.

And I think a lot of us do that.

We dismiss some of the hardest things we’ve ever done because we were scared while we did them.

But what if confidence doesn't always feel confident?

That’s what I’m talking about on the blog this week.

And you might discover you’re starting with a hell of a lot more than you thought.

In other news...

Apparently confidence wasn't just on the blog this week.

Positivi-Tea officially made its way out into the world.

If you haven't seen these yet, Positivi-Tea started with my general dislike of the kind of affirmation jar that basically tells you to slap a happy thought on something hard and call it personal growth.

That wasn't what I wanted to make.

Each jar has 25 slips, and every slip has two parts:

The Tea — a grounded truth or perspective shift.

The Stir — something practical to actually do with it.

There are now five editions:

Anxiety. Recovery. Boundaries. Confidence. Resilience.

And in a completely unbiased turn of events, the Confidence jar—affectionately known around here as Pinky—was the first one to sell out on Amazon. 😂

Apparently that was enough for her to start making editorial decisions around here.

She's currently sold out, but more Pinkys are on the way.

In the meantime, the rest of the Positivi-Tea family would probably like me to remind you that they also exist.
